Based on it's feel good and crowd pleasing status. . . . could 'Slumdog Millionaire' go all the way to best pic?The last four winners have not exactly been uplifting, and lord knows in these times we all need a reason to cheer. I know I am getting way ahead of myself, but I had this thought.
If it is nominated will it be the film that people suddenly turn on and hate with passion? Usually this mean spirited turn happens to comedies ('Juno', 'Little Miss Sunshine') or will it be another poor sod?
