BAFTA Winners

Well the winners have been announced. Is this race over yet? I mean EVERYTHING has been so predictable. Where is the suspense and surprise?

I mean the only thing that could happen is a Viola win over Penelope, a Mickey win over Sean and really...that is it.

I'm OK with the acting winners just as they are, in my imagination Kate's Oscar will say "for 'The Reader' AND 'Revolutionary Road'" and Sean already won so this should be Mickey's, who I also give a slight edge to in the "Best".
And I'll just ignore that mean Penélope comment...

Snooze! At least Kate held it together. And the Brangelinas went empty handed! All three of them. Brad, Angelina and that sporty moustache of Brads. Slumdog that's a British film right?

Jose darling, you get me totally wrong. I think Penelope is totally deserving, but I would have liked the awards bodies to spread the wealth out a bit to make it a nail biter. I also do think Viola deserves some recognition for blowing away a film in less than 12 minutes.
