American Actresses win ALL THE TIME!! It should never be about what country you are from anyway. so far in the 00's we have 4 American winners, 1 Australian, 1 South African, 1 Brit and 1 French. To be honest, I am loving the international falvour of it all.

Well, now I have seen Wendy and Lucy and Rachel Getting Married - the BB girls both do some fabulous work, both their career bests - but I am damn sure Hathaway will beat her to a nomination though.

Michael is true about this, but after all, The Osscars are an American Industry... Well two foreigners actress in two consecutives years... But I'm also in love the international flavor. We need a hispanic (Catalina Sandino Moreno, I hope so ;)) and asiatic winner

Christ it is hard enough for an Asian actress to get nominated these days, yet alone win. I remember reading something the year when Catalina was nominated that was utterly racist, but made sense. The article basically said she could not win because the old Whites in the Academy would never reward anyone who reminds them of their maids. Shocking, but I can see that. If Michelle Yeoh could not get a nom for CTHD then who can?
