My friend Steven Emery aka Tamisha, reminded me of this little number a while back. He had wanted to perform it in a drag act, but I never actually know if he ended up doing it.
Right now I am busy buying presents for my nieces and after being bombarded with Barbie and dress up set requests I remembered Steven and School House Rock. How I wish there was a region 2 DVD of it so I could get it for them, watch them learn while appreciating the complexities for the musical number. I guess they will have to deal with me singing and acting it out for them....now where is my globe?
