This was one of those songs that I just thought was wierd when it came out. Listening to it as I got older it has become a staple on my iPod. One of those songs that still sounds fresh today (if not watching the video). I paired this with another of Aimee Mann's great songs from the film Magnolia - Wise up.

Mikey, can we talk about new videos too...please, pretty please...? I say this because there've been a few out recently that warrant some discussion...or ridicule. Case in point: Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around Comes Around". Kinda compelling at first, then almost painfully corny. I don't know. You decide. But please, let's pick one to make fun every week...:)

So Voices Carry is always on my i-pod. I agree, it's timeless. Quick question, I read that it won MTV's Best Music Video for New Artist award for that year, but I'm wondering who the director and/or lead actor is..any ideas?
