What is the most interesting is the snub of 'Revolutionary Road'. Shut out completely. Leo, Kate and Michael all snub snubby snub snubbed. Also snubbed was poor Kristen Scott Thomas. Saddest snub for me though was for Sally Hawkins. If one performance has been heralded this year, out of all lead actresses it is her and Melissa Leo.

Also interesting is the strong showing of 'Changeling' considering many people wrote it off (even managed a score nod).

Also 'Nothing But The Truth' managed noms for Lead Actress (Kate Beckinsale) and Supporting Actress (Vera Farminga). Can they make it through in the end?

'Milk' and 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' each got 6 nods, and 'The Dark Knight', 'Slumdog Millionaire' and 'Doubt' each got 6. Is that our Best Pic line up?
