Because I deep into season 6 of Buffy and have vampires on the brain (Spike.....droooool) I came across this and whoa and behold it looks like it might be rather good. Instead of the horrific violence of vampire films this looks at the human/demon love affair a-la Angel and Buffy (or if it is sexy then Spike and Buffy.....she sure did get alot of bone from him...luck bitch).
Plus it is directed by Catherine Hardwicke of "Thirteen" fame, and she knows all about portraying teenage angst brilliantly on screen.
Poor deer though. I am still upset about Willow turning all knifey on Bambi just for some vino de madre. Deers have it rough in movies.
