Sasha Stone leads us to this possible news about the casting for Batman 3. I love this idea more so than this one which let's face it is not even in the planning stages. Catwoman is a difficult character to get your head around. she is either played for laughs or sex appeal. Michelle Pfeiffer is the definitive Catwoman of our times, but she does need a revamp.

Cher would've been a hoot as Catwoman.
And as much as I like Cotillard, I think we deserve an out of the blue choice for Catwoman, if the filmmakers let the fanboys do the casting director's work soon we'll be living in a world where Adam Sandler and J.Lo are up for acting Oscars and High School Musical 8 competes for Best Picture with Transformers 2.
I actually don't think Catwoman needs a revamp (in 20 years will people be saying we need another Joker revamp? hardly.) but I like the idea of the old vamp-style Catwoman (although perhaps not as played by Cher. hell, they could get Michelle Pfeiffer!), which would certainly fit into Nolan's "Gotham as the real world" scenario.
