Brilliant broody and dark image. Depp looks magical in this. I am not too scared about his abilty to sing, as I figure he would not want to make a fool out of himself, especially with such beloved material.

WOW, what a great image, I cannot wait-hope Burton is back on form too....
So do I. He has not impressed me in a while.
i wouldn't worry about the singing either. Sondhiem wrote for actors not singers which is why his musicals have a whole other depth. the songs allow the actors to shine, you don't even have to sing much...just act the lyric on an extended vowel, keep time and pace and enjoy the ride he scores within the music...difficult shit to pull off...the cast will be great!
